NUVO-Cultural Trail Cycling Series continues
by Laura McPhee Aug 1, 2007

This past Sunday brought another victory for Harry Clark of Texas Roadhouse at the Indiana District Criterium in South Bend, making it a clean sweep for this rider in the series thus far.

NUVO-Cultural Trail continues to dominate with team depth and strong finishers. They also had riders in most every breakaway including the most threatening break of three riders, Dufour (NUVO), Uberti (Purdue) and Peterson (Zipp Factory Team) and eventually Jason Swiatlowski (West Michigan Coast Riders).

This break was away for over 20 minutes and had a lead of 38 seconds at one point, but was pulled back with five laps to go by a number of riders, including Derek Witte, who did the lion’s share of the work to bring everyone back together.

The final two races of the series take place this weekend in downtown Bloomington on Saturday and downtown Zionsville on Sunday. The top four teams will receive their portion of the $3,500 purse put up by the NUVO-Cultural Trail team.
