• Dan Fogelberg passed away from prostate cancer.

• Used ticket stubs and wrist bands from Led Zeppelin’s reunion show are going for over $200 on eBay.

• Cuba Gooding Jr. has signed to star in the biopic of the Queensbridge , N.Y., hip-hop group the Juice Crew.

• Hawthrone Heights band member Casey Calvert died of an “accidental substance abuse.”

• Robert Plant and Alsion Krauss have announced plans to tour in Europe and the U.S. starting in the spring in support of their recent collaboration.

• Reports in London are that Pete Doherty will attempt to run the London Marathon.

• Hannah Montana announced another round of tour dates.

• Local boy John Mellencamp was named as an inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with a few others.

• The Decemberists have announced a short tour, but unfortunately nothing close to here.

• British media is reporting that Michael Jackson is in the final stages of announcing a seven to 10 night stand at the 02 Arena.

• Eminem’s mother is releasing a book about her son.
