• Fergie has reportedly signed a $4 million agreement with Candie’s shoes to work their brand into her songs.

• Pete Doherty and Kate Moss have separated with reports of Pete cheating on Kate.

• Clay Aiken was involved in an argument and potential assault on an airline this past weekend. The FBI was there at the gate waiting to interview those involved and the other passengers.

• Ozzfest will conduct a lottery at each stop to give away 3,000 seat upgrades.

• Avril Lavigne has been sued by the Rubinoos, claiming that her song “Girlfriend” copies an older song of theirs.

• The Roots will headline the VH-1 Hip-Hop Honors tour this fall.

• Lily Allen in an interview last week claimed that she would consider retiring early.

• Bloc Party has announced an Indianapolis gig. They’ll perform at the Murat Egyptian Room Sept. 12.

• The Smashing Pumpkins announced their big comeback tour, but there’s no show yet in Indy.
