• Phil Spector’s murder trial is set to begin with a jury of nine men and three women.

• The Family Values Tour has announced festival dates. The tour will stop in Indy on Aug. 10. Korn and Evanescence are headlining.

• Sara Ramirez (Callie on Grey’s Anatomy) is set to record her own album.

• Damon Albarn has stated that there will never be another Gorillaz record and that he will not do another “pop” album.

• Jesus & Mary Chain have invited Scarlett Johansson to sing with them on tour.

• Iggy Pop recently turned 60.

• The Decemberists have announced tour dates, including a free show in Chicago that will be performed with the Grant Park Orchestra.

• Bob Dylan has agreed to a contract extension with XM radio to keep his massively popular show on air.
