• Due to illness, the Arcade Fire had to cancel its European tour.

• Snoop Dogg has been denied a U.K. visa for his tour that was scheduled to start next week. The tour, a co-headlining tour with P.Diddy, is in limbo. Looks like those drug and battery arrests are causing a problem.

• The previously reported White Stripes tour dates turned out to be false.

• The Crossroads Music Festival will be held in Chicago on July 28. Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, John Mayer, Buddy Guy, B.B. King, Alison Krauss and others are scheduled to perform.

• Joan Jett is rumored to be dating Carmen Electra.

• Spoon has set a July 10 release date for its upcoming untitled record.

• Elton John celebrated his 60th birthday by performing a three-hour-long concert at Madison Square Garden. Bill Clinton introduced him.
