• The Clipse has ended its relationship with Jive Records and signed on with Columbia.

• Eddie Vedder cancelled his Bridge School Concert appearance and was replaced with My Morning Jacket.

• Kanye West will release his first book, called Thank You and You’re Welcome. The book will share West’s views on entertainment, politics and more.

• Country legend Porter Wagoner passed away this past week. He died from complications with lung cancer.

• A museum celebrating Woodstock is slated to open next year.

• T.I. was released on $3 million bail.

• Jessica Simpson has confirmed she is moving from L.A. to Nashville to record a country album.

• Natalie Portman has created a playlist on iTunes that benefits FINCA. The list contains Beirut, Tokyo Police Club and more indie rock goodness.

• New reports suggest that Radiohead moved 1.2 million units of In Rainbows in the first week with an average selling price of $8.

• The most exciting news of the week? Both Ace of Base and Aqua (think “Barbie Girl”) both announced they are reuniting. OK, maybe that’s not the most exciting news.
