• Yoko Ono will unveil the newest John Lennon tribute, the Imagine Peace Tower in Iceland, on Oct. 9.

• Ron Wood’s autobiography will be released on Oct. 30. He has titled it The Autobiography.

• Over 1 million fans registered for the 20,000 tickets available for Led Zeppelin’s London show. Winners of the lottery will be notified this week.

• The Spice Girls concert in London sold out in 38 seconds, so they added two additional shows. Demand in L.A. also caused them to add an extra show.

• Radiohead announced that their new album, In Rainbows, will be available Oct. 10 online. You set your own price. The only requirement is that you pay enough to cover the credit card transaction fee, which is less than a dollar.

• The Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame announced this year’s nominees for induction. The list includes Madonna, John Mellencamp, the Beastie Boys, Donna Summers and more.

• The Phil Spector trial has ended in a mistrial.

• Cat Power’s upcoming covers album will be released Jan. 22, 2008.

• The Pipettes have had to delay the start of their U.S. tour due to visa problems.
