• Led Zeppelin’s one-off reunion gig in London was the highest grossing concert by one performer of the year. An online ticket agency in the U.K. reported that the average ticket sold on its site went for around $14,000 USD (the tickets cost around $250 if you were lucky enough to score one).

• Shins keyboardist Marty Crandall and his girlfriend were both arrested for allegedly assaulting each other in a Sacramento hotel.

• U2 is set to premier a digital 3D film of a concert taped during their 2005 tour.

• The Little Ones have announced that their full-length debut will be released April 15.

• Jose Gonzales has announced his plans for a green tour, with eco-friendly status including all transportation, catering, etc. Too bad there’s no Indianapolis stop.

• Electronic musician BT’s daughter has been missing for over three weeks. The child’s mother abducted the child, and neither BT nor the authorities have been able to locate them.

• Canadian punk rocker Bif Naked was diagnosed with breast cancer.

• Rumors are circulating that Coldplay plans on leaving EMI records when their contract is up after their upcoming record. Coldplay’s departure could be the final straw in the demise of the once great EMI.
