Modest Mouse has confirmed details for an upcoming album, We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank, due March 20. 

Brian Eno has confirmed that he is producing the new Coldplay record.

Kelly Jones, lead singer of the Stereophonics, has recorded a solo record, Only the Names Have Changed, available now digitally and in stores soon.

Virgin Records and Capitol Records have announced their merger. 

Robert Pollard is currently working on three new projects.

Albert Hammond Jr. of the Strokes was recently relaxing on his tour bus when a car crashed into the trailer behind his bus after a high-speed car chase by police.
