Lost: The Complete Third Season
by Ed Johnson-Ott Dec 12, 2007

Three and half stars (NR)
Naveen Andrews, Jorge Garcia

The early episodes of year three of the puzzles-within-puzzles TV series focused largely on one plot line involving the kidnapped Kate, Sawyer and Jack, which annoyed some viewers to no end. But there is plenty to savor here, as we learn more about The Others, only to discover that there are others that frighten them. Juliet raised questions, Hurley found a magic bus and Desmond had bad news for Charlie. Then there was the season finale, which radically changed the whole playing field. Scoff if you want, but the journey is more important than the destination and I’m still enjoying the trip. 991 minutes.

DVD INFO: Loads of extras, including commentary tracks, deleted scenes, bloopers, interviews and numerous featurettes.
