• A few concerts you shouldn’t miss this weekend include: The Elms at Spin Nightclub on Saturday, Nov. 17. The show will also feature Wheelhouse, Jer Gregg (who is moving to Nashville, Tenn., to further pursue his career in music) and Disappointed by Candy, who were recently highlighted in an issue of Paste magazine.

• If you’re a fan of underground metal, head to Zanies Too on Sunday, Nov. 18 for the War of Attrition Tour, featuring Dying Fetus, Cephalic Carnage, Skeletonwitch, Demiricous and The Absence. Tickets are $15 at the door for 21+.

• Rykodisc recording artist Kellis Willis and her band from Austin, Texas, perform with Tom Roznowski at the Lafayette Brewing Company at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18. Willis is a golden alt-country vocalist with a honky-tonk edge.
