Unbiased Truth needs to take his medications--clearly he has gone off the deep end. Also, unbiased truth seems not to have bothered to read Hammer's column; otherwise, he would know that Hammer VOTED for Ballard. (And by the way, even though I didn't care for Bart Peterson and I thought he made some mistakes as mayor--he didn't f*ck up the city--not by a long-shot. Peterson was a decent, though not exceptional mayor. It's good to have new leadership. Now, is the time to focus on resolving systemic city problems which have gone unresolved for the past 50 years and stop engaging in stupid partisan backbiting). What Unbiased Truth doesn't seem to get is that Hammer writes an OPINION column in which he gives his take on local issues. Moreover, he certainly has the same right as any other citizen of Indianapolis to give Ballard advice on his mayoral duties. Ballard works for the citizens of Indianapolis--it is not the other way around. So, I fail to see what Unbiased Truth is so ticked off about. Apparently, Unbiased Truth thinks that Ballard should be treated like a king instead of an elected official--wrong! Ballard seems like an intelligent and principled individual. I don't know if he will make a great mayor, but I am sure he will make a decent mayor--so long as he never listens to idiots like Unbiased Truth.
