From noon to 11 p.m. on Aug. 26, the Feast of Lanterns festival will feature art, music, food … and yes, lanterns. Beautiful, giant, hand-made lanterns, lit with candles, suspended high in the air. Indy favorite Jennie DeVoe headlines the performance schedule, which includes the return of the maniacal Lord of the Yum Yum as MC. Kids’ events include lantern-making; their parade takes place at dusk. As a free neighborhood party, it doesn’t get sweeter than this. Such a neat event--Lord of the Yum Yum is teh awesome!! We had such a great time playing and hope to do it again next year!!
