Keep On Marchin’
North Mississippi Allstars
Songs of the South

One of the best-kept secrets in blues music, the North Mississippi Allstars draw on members’ musical roots for their songwriting and performing. Their first concert DVD, Keep On Marchin’, showcases the trio — Luther Dickinson (vocals, guitars), brother Cody (drums) and Chris Chew (bass) — during a concert recorded in the intimate setting of the Higher Ground theater in Burlington, Vt., in 2005. The packed house is treated to an evening of various styles of blues, ranging from down-home, bare-bones picking to high-energy blues-rock. The North Mississippi Allstars seem quite at home on stage, sharing their love of the music with their fans and each other.
