Indieana Handicraft Exchange
by Editors Oct 1, 2008

Billed as Indianapolis’ “premier contemporary crafting event,” the second annual Indieana Handicraft Exchange at Harrison Center for the Arts will feature live music, live roller girls and more than 45 artisans and crafters from the city, state and beyond. This is a bizarre bazaar, with handmade wooden rings, fanciful undergarments, custom vintage-inspired Western wear, plush animals, hand-screened rock and roll poster art, and more. The event is Oct. 3, 6-9 p.m. and Oct. 4, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and admission is free.

Also opening Friday at the Harrison Center is Bristled, a collection of new paintings by Tyler Meuninck based on handmade paint brushes and other tools, and works by Kyle Herrington in Gallery No. 2 and a show featuring Cora Hughey, Moses Kaufmann and Marshall Boring.
