More than 16 prizes were awarded to films in a variety of categories at the close of the Indianapolis International Film Festival. Audience awards, chosen by festival-goers, were as follows, and included a tie in the category of Best Feature Film, and the highest ranking ever given a festival entry in the Documentary category. Audience Award: Best Feature Film (TIE)

Speed Dating, director Tony Herbert

Audience Award: Best Documentary
In the Shadow of the Moon, David Sington (shattered all Audience Award records with a 5.837 average grade out of 6)
