3.5 stars (PG-13) Harrison Ford

The long-awaited (19 years!) fourth installment in the “Indiana Jones” franchise makes mistakes, lots of them, but damned if it doesn't more or less work anyway. Yes, a lot of the Spielberg film plays more like a stunt spectacular than an actual movie, but Harrison Ford remains one of the coolest heroes in movie history and its great fun watching him in action, especially when he reunites with Karen Allen, who played his ally, sparring partner and love interest from “Raiders of the Lost Ark.” What a treat it is to see Allen again, sporting a grin just as winning as Ford's. There is a lot to keep nitpickers busy in “Crystal Skull,” but don't let your enjoyment of the film be derailed because part of it rubs you the wrong way. Complain later, have fun first. 124 minutes. DVD INFO: The two-disc special edition includes several documentaries and featurettes.

I can affirm that the exhibition offers much to savor, in addition to a gift shop the likes of which you’ve never tasted. It offers history and lore...
