iMOCA’s Spike-A-Delic
by Editors Sep 27, 2006

The Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art’s annual fund-raiser is an art party with an equal emphasis on both art and, well, a great time. This year, everyone is urged to bring a found object, something that’s been discarded or used and reflects the partygoer’s personality. Three teams of artists will then transform these objects into works of art during the event. Both juried and audience favorite awards will be presented.

Spike-A-Delic happens in the Van Riper Gallery on the second floor of the Stutz, 1060 N. Capitol Ave., Sept. 29, 6:30-10 p.m. Tickets are $55 each, $45 for current iMOCA members and $25 for students with valid student ID. Ticket price includes hors d’oeuvres, select wine and beer and a specialty drink provided by Corazon Tequila. Call 317-634-6622 for information or e-mail dlaffey@indymoca.org.
