Huge art fair

The largest annual fund-raising event for the Indianapolis Art Center, the 37th Broad Ripple Art Fair will be held May 19-20 on the center grounds at 820 E. 67th St.

More than 25,000 visitors will converge on the grounds to take in the juried art fair, featuring 225 artists, Indianapolis’ cultural organizations booths, live bands and performers on four entertainment stages, two beer & wine gardens, a Kids’ World area, two food courts and more.

Hours are Saturday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Advance tickets are $8; a two-day ticket is $15; children are $2. Tickets at the gate are $10. Free parking and shuttle buses are available at Broad Ripple High School and Broad Ripple Park, Eastwood Middle School and AT&T employee lot at College and Kessler. A free supervised bike corral for Monon Trail users will be provided (www.pedalandpark.org).
