by Editors Nov 28, 2007

NUVO’s Rita Kohn will be among the more than 90 Indiana authors who will be signing and selling their books at the Indiana History Center on Dec. 1 from noon-4 p.m. as part of the Fifth Annual Holiday Author Fair. Kohn will be signing her new book about contemporary Delaware Indians, The Long Journey Home, with co-editor James Brown. Other authors on hand will be Gloria Gaither, Lou Harry, Philip Gulley, James Alexander Thom and Jim Madison. There will also be refreshments and live entertainment at this free event, which is sponsored by Indy Reads. For more information, call 317-232-1882 or go to www.indianahistory.org.

And as long as you’re at the History Center, enjoy some storytelling at the Haughville Story Fest, presented by Asante Children’s Theatre in the Frank and Katrina Basile Theater. Admission is $5, and the festival runs Nov. 30, 7 p.m.; Dec. 1, noon; and Dec. 2, 4 p.m. with special performances by Dylan Pritchett from Williamsburg, Va. For more information, call 317-297-0020.
