Famed international artist Michael Israel’s “Heroes & Icons Tour” benefitting the Peoples Burn Foundation will come to the Indiana Roof Ballroom, 140 W. Washington St., April 10 at 7:30 p.m. Israel will perform his live “Art in Concert,” creating a number of 6-by-4-foot artworks on stage, including one of his signature artworks, “Hero,” depicting a firefighter rescuing a young child. Following the event, a live auction of the performed artworks will be held to raise funds for the Peoples Burn Foundation, an Indianapolis-based burn foundation nationally recognized for its burn prevention and firefighter burn safety training programs. Tickets are $40 online at michaelisrael.com and through the Peoples Burn Foundation, 323 N. Delaware St. Firefighters will receive a discounted ticket price of $25.
