Heima chronicles a series of free, unannounced shows played by Sigur Ros throughout Iceland. Performances are in both traditional and unconventional settings: concert venues, coffee shops, fishing docks, and open prairies.

The cinematography is astounding. Director Dean Deblois captures the natural beauty of Iceland in detail; the band’s sonically astounding music finds its match in those ineffable landscapes.
