Chuck, thanks so much for the effort shown by you and others to make our day in Indianapolis an historic event (“A Great Day Recap,” Jazz Notes, June 6-11). When I returned to San Francisco on Tuesday my thoughts were of the many people that were in attendance on Sunday afternoon and just how many I had not seen in years. Thank you, Indianapolis, for allowing us to spend a little time with you remembering the greatness of those we knew on Indiana Avenue.
