Gay and Muslim
by Editors Jul 3, 2008

Journalist Michael Luongo became interested in the lives of homosexuals in the Muslim world shortly after Sept. 11. Since that time, he has made a number of visits to Afghanistan, Baghdad and other Muslim countries in order to get a better understanding of this complex topic. The result is Gay Travels in the Muslim World, an anthology of writings by gay Muslim and non-Muslim men.

Luongo will be in Indianapolis for an appearance at Out Word Bound Bookstore, 625 N. East St.,  July 9 at 7 p.m. Admission is free. For more information, call 317-951-9100 or go to www.outwordbound.com.
