For the kid in us all
by Shawndra Miller Dec 5, 2007

For the kid in us allArt patrons can recapture some childlike appreciation of the holidays at Friday’s Toys, nonprofit arts organization Primary Colours’ annual holiday event.

According to board member Dane Sauer, “The idea of the show is identifying with childhood,” he says. “As we grow up, [we] kind of lose that excitement that comes with Christmas.” He hopes the show will evoke childhood memories in patrons.

Primary Colours is asking attendees to bring dry pasta for Second Helpings. “Second Helpings is a great organization and we support their cause,” Sauer says, noting that dry pasta is a consistent need at the food rescue organization.

This free show will take place in Gallery No. 2 at the Harrison Center for the Arts from 5-10 p.m. Dec. 7, coinciding with the IDADA (Indianapolis Downtown Artists and Dealers Association) First Friday Art Tour. More information: www.primarycolours.org.
