The Marion County Fair will run July 19-28 at the county fairgrounds, 7300 E. Troy Ave. Grandstand events include motorcycle races, heavy weight horse pull, tri-county garden tractor pull, a car show, Imperial Stunt drivers, IMPD canine demonstration, truck pull, pro-stock Hoosier tractor pull and a demolition derby. Plus, there’s food, rides, contests … the perfect way to get primed for the Indiana State Fair. Admission is only $4, children ages 5 and under are free and parking is free. Season passes are also available for $20.

Moonlight Madness — offering $15 ride bracelets — is July 20 and July 27, 10 p.m.-1 a.m. On July 21, rides are free from noon-1 p.m., and from 1-5 p.m. you can get unlimited rides for a $15 bracelet. July 23 is Ladies Night: $2 off gate admission and free rides when accompanied by another paid adult. July 24, get unlimited rides for $15 from 5-11 p.m. July 28 is Smoke Free Kids Days with free rides from noon-1 p.m. and $15 unlimited rides from 1-5 p.m.
