Elizabeth Krajeck on Mother’s Day
by Editors May 9, 2007

For an original take on Mother’s Day, try this: a reading with poet and artist Elizabeth Krajeck at the Writers’ Center May 13 from 7-9 p.m. Krajeck is an award-winning writer, known for her collaborations with visual artists and commitment to community projects like the Blue Triangle Residence Hall prose poem project, the Hamaker Corner postcard collaboration and a recent installation at the IUPUI Cultural Arts Gallery. Her Mother’s Day reading includes poems inspired by her children, her six sisters, five brothers and her mother. An open mike will follow Krajeck’s reading. The Writers’ Center is located at 812 E. 67th St., off College Avenue and adjacent to the Indianapolis Art Center. For info: www.indianawriters.org.
