Direwolf, Blackberry Smoke to play Zanies Too
An organic, homespun outfit from the eastside, Direwolf has been cranking out chunky, bad-to-the-bone rock for well over a decade. Although their appearances have been sporadic over the past few years, they will perform a gig at Zanies Too Saturday, October 20. Expect lots of familiar songs people regularly copulate to, including “Raven,” “Josephine” and “Cats and Dogs.”
The concert will also include Atlanta boogiemen Blackberry Smoke. All you need to know is the Black Crowes’ Chris Robinson named this band, and they’re are currently getting rave reviews across the country while opening for ZZ Top. Their southern rock sound grows out of Marshall Tucker and of course, the Allman’s linage. The two bands will definitely put on one of the better shows you’ll likely see this season. Post a comment
