Explore the “Dark Side” at Starbase Indy: The Anti-Con. The science fiction convention runs Nov. 23-25 at the Marriott East, 7202 E. 21st St.

The special guest is Ray Park, aka Darth Maul from Star Wars: Episode I and the Toad in X-Men, who will share his passion for martial arts with guests. Also appearing are The Great Luke Ski, who performs parodies; George “Lucas” Starkey, who appeared in the independent film Saving Star Wars’ and David Reddick, who will display the artistry known on www.startrek.com’s The Trek Life.

Other events include the Bad Movie Night, sessions on quantum physics, the physics of Star Trek, a masquerade contest, and Jabba the Hutt’s House of Karaoke.
