Dance Kaleidoscope offers a program at the Indiana Repertory Theatre devoted to relationships between fathers and sons, featuring the world premiere of David Hochoy’s “I Never Danced For My Father,” an autobiographical work including interviews with the fathers of each of DK’s male dancers, video framing and music by IUPUI professor and composer Scott Deal. Kenyetta Dance Company’s Nicholas A. Owens and Gregory Manning II will present their duet “Children of Lights” and Kenoth Shane Patton will be featured in Hochoy’s two-act work, “Seasons,” featuring music by Debussy, Piazzola, Arvo Part and the Beatles. There will be a May 15 mini-matinee at noon for $6; Thursday Preview Performance is at 7 p.m., with May 16-17 shows at 8 p.m. and May 18 matinee at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $20-$36 and are available at the IRT ticket office, 317-635-5252 or at www.irtlive.com. The IRT is located at 140 W. Washington St.
