Five stars

No “sophomore jinx” for Miss Lambert. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is wall-to-wall country music with attitude — the vocals, the lyrics and the overall sound. Don’t mess with this talented young lady. Lambert is definitely one of country music’s brightest young stars, and this album is more proof of that.

Sounds like: Brassy country music from deep in the heart of Texas
