Controversy at Butler

Pulitzer Prize-winning author and critic Michael Kammen, whose latest book is called Visual Shock: A History of Art and Controversies in American Culture, will speak about our more notable cultural controversies in a lecture titled “Art Controversies in American Culture: When and Why.” The event is March 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the Eidson-Duckwall Recital Hall at Butler University. Admission is free; no tickets are required. The talk is co-presented by the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
