Cavanaugh movin' in

Pianist and singer Michael Cavanaugh, who was hand-picked by Billy Joel to star in the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical based on Joel’s music, Movin’ Out, will join the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly for the world premiere of a new symphonic pops program, Michael Cavanaugh Sings the Music of Billy Joel & More. This new pops program, which was co-commissioned by the ISO and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra in collaboration with Cavanaugh, will feature the talented pianist and singer performing many arrangements of Billy Joel’s greatest hits.
Concerts are April 4-5, 8 p.m. and April 6, 7 p.m. at the Hilbert Circle Theatre. Tickets are $30-$70 each. Call 317-639-4300, or go to www.IndianapolisSymphony.org.n
