If the history and design of the automobile are subjects that rev your engines, don’t miss the Carmel Artomobilia Collector Car Show where over 80 cars will represent 100 years of automobile history. The incredibly rare Bugatti Veyron, the fastest production car in the world, and an Aston Martin AR1 will be on hand alongside a selection of Hoosier-built models from the pre-war period. Al Unser Jr. will be the guest of honor and renowned painter Bill Patterson will be on hand to demonstrate his technique.

“This event ties together one of the great loves of Hoosiers — the automobile — with the mission of the Arts & Design District by bringing several automotive artists to display their work,” according to event contractor Andrew Lee.

The event is June 14, noon-6 p.m. in the Carmel Arts & Design District (blocks surrounding intersection of Range Line and Main Street).  More info: www.carmelartomobilia.com. Admission is free.
