Butler Theatre presents Samuel Beckett’s dark, dark comedy, Endgame, in the Lilly Hall Studio Theatre. Directed by Owen Schaub, Endgame — which premiered in 1957, four years after Beckett’s Waiting for Godot — places four characters, two of whom live in garbage cans, in an apocalyptic apartment where you have to use a stepladder to look out the windows. Existentialism ensues. Show times are April 23-26 at 8 p.m., with 2 p.m. matinees April 26-27. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students. They’re available by calling 317-940-9247 or www.butler.edu/theatre/current.aspx.
