"Avant Grande" at IAC

You probably already know this: Your favorite Starbucks barrista is also an artist. The Avant Grande show collects notable work by Starbucks employees. The work is available for purchase for one night at the Indianapolis Art Center. Live music by a jazz trio will also be featured: Cathy Morris and a string quartet with players from the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Plus, you can enjoy an open bar and hors dÕoeuvres. There is a suggested donation of $10 at the door, which benefits the IAC. Avant Grande begins at 7 p.m. Aug. 25 and is for those 21 and over. The Indianapolis Art center is located at 820 E. 67th St.
