Other Worlds/Altered Visions, the new show opening at the Indianapolis Art Center Feb. 15 from 6-8 p.m., isn’t just one show, but a bouquet of new work by artists from around the region — and the country.

In the title show, various artists working in different mediums, including painting, photography, wall hangings and drawing, will show personal viewpoints of their created worlds.

Then there’s “poly_genic,” a hand-blown Plexiglas installation by Kristina Arnold and “Big House,” a mixed-media installation by Charles Caldemeyer. Other exhibitions on view will include a one-woman show by painter Lois Davis, and exhibits of woodcuts by Paul Sinclair and Tom Brown.

The IAC is located in Broad Ripple at 820 E. 67th St. For more information: www.indplsartcenter.org.
