Herron’s goodbye and hello
by Editors May 3, 2006

Graduation is a milestone for anyone, but for art students it takes the form of a final show — a chance to present the fruits of four years’ labor. So it’s goodbye to art school, hello to membership in a larger creative community.

This year’s Herron School of Art and Design senior class will be presenting their show First Class at Big Car Gallery in Fountain Square’s Murphy Building. As always, the Herron senior show will offer works in a variety of mediums. The show is sponsored by Big Car Gallery, the Herron Alumni Association, Hoaglin Catering, Herron School of Art and Design and the Active Student Association.

The show opens May 5 from 6-9 p.m. There will also be a closing reception May 12 from 6-11 p.m. Exhibition dates are May 5-14. Big Car Gallery is located at 1043 Virginia Ave. For more information contact Jim@bigcar.org.
