Dance Rita Kohn Butler Ballet replays Sleeping Beauty with one of its strongest rosters of dancers. Tchaikovsky’s beloved work, staged here by faculty choreographers, is big and bold, requiring at least four principal female dancers among a cast of Fairies and Jewels, and “lots of men, because Aurora at her 16th birthday has many suitors who come to dance with her,” stated Michelle Jarvis, chair of Butler’s Dance Department.
