“Once government takes something from you, it never gives it back.” (Hammer, “There Is No ‘Daylight Savings.’” April 5-12) Mr. Hammer, truer words were never written. Once the government confiscates the fruits of your labor, it never returns them to you. That is the principle of taxation.
