ELMO diet
by Juana Bett Apr 27, 2005

Big Bird and Associates, located at 123 Sesame St., announced the release of the new ELMO diet.

“Eat Less, Move Often,” said Elmo Monster, for whom the diet is named. “This is the diet, la la la la, ELMO Diet.”

Cookie Monster, who has given up his beloved cookies as part of the carb-counting Atkins diet, expressed joy over the new diet.

“Me can eat cookies again!” he exclaimed. “Me just need to eat less and move more often. Me need exercise!”

Count Von Count, affectionately known as “The Count,” expressed delight over the opportunity to put his skills to the test.

“I simply burn more calories than I eat. One hundred, two hundred, three hundred, four hundred calories burned! Ha ha ha ha ha!”

Lightning flashed and thunder rolled as he laughed.

Big Bird, CEO of Big Bird and Associates, said the firm hopes to have a new song about the diet released by the end of the week.
