Special Event

Indiana Black Expo, Inc.’s 34th Annual Summer Celebration will be held July 10-18. Events will range from the arts to commerce to music.

A kick-off event will he held July 10 at the American Legion Mall: the second annual Veolia Water Indianapolis Race Against Prostate Cancer — “That Men Might Live” 5K walk/run and 1-mile family walk.

Other events will include an appearance by New York Times best-selling author Eric Jerome Dickey July 14, the WTHR Employment Opportunity Fair July 15, the kick-off party featuring Atlantic Starr July 15, the Parisian Fashion Show July 17, and much more. The Cultural Arts Pavilion will feature film, as well as visual and performing arts, and the Music Heritage Festivals I, II and III will feature stars such as LL Cool J and The O’Jays. Again this year, UniverSoul Circus will be performing, as well.
