: I am reading Greg Palast, The Best Democracy Money Can Buy. Be aware of it.

Q: What do you like about the Indianapolis art scene?
A: I like that it’s a growing scene. It seems to be growing at a pretty decent pace. It has that kind of energy.

Q: What don’t you like?
A: I’ve been lucky here in Indy. So far I haven’t had that many bad experiences.

Q: What inspires you?
A: Rembrandt. Good food — mostly my mother-in-law’s food. That’s very inspiring. Life is a good thing. To think so many sperms try to fertilize and make different people — and they made me. That’s inspiring.

Q: Drug of choice?
A: I’m not much of a drug user, but I’ll say: Legalize it.

Q: Who’s your favorite politician?
A: I have to give props to Lula, from Brazil. He came up from the bottom.

Q: What’s the hardest thing about what you do?
A: Solitude.

Q: What’s your favorite TV commercial at the moment?
A: I don’t like commercials.

Q: Name three people you’d invite to dinner.
A: I’d love to have Marx over. I’d love to have Rembrandt over. Then I’d like to spend the afternoon gardening with George Harrison and have him join us for dinner as well.

Q: Can love be pornographic?
A: Pornography is a dangerous thing. It’s not love to me.
