The film points out plans and policies already in place and on paper nearly 10 years before the Sept. 11 attacks, scrutinizing the roots of “The Wolfowitz Doctrine” — global domination through unilateral force. Hijacking Catastrophe examines this radical post-Cold War reconfiguration of defense policy and the manipulation of a vulnerable America through the propaganda of fear.

Narrated by Julian Bond and featuring a wide array of out-spoken experts and whistle-blowers, Hijacking Catastrophe shows that critical thinking and moving beyond our primal fears is sorely needed in the months before Election Day 2004.
