Out of town pick

The White Violet Center for Eco-Justice will host its sixth annual Earth Day celebration at St. Mary-of-the-Woods College, outside of Terre Haute, April 17, 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m. The event is free.
 
-Earth Day at SMWF is April 17.-
 

Entertainment will include the Iron Necklace Singers and Dance Troupe, Native American singers, dancers and drummers; the Silly Safari live animal show; horse-drawn tours; tours of the straw bale house; plus energy alternative demonstrations and eco-friendly shopping and vegetarian and organic food.
