Tears in study hall
by Editors Apr 30, 2003

There were tears at a local high school last week when geeky would-be white rapper Nelson “49 Cent” Huffmeister was ridiculed by two black students. “They better chill,” the 15-year-old Nelson said between sobs, “’cuz I’m down with the Amway crew.” Deonte Smith, 16, and Frederick McMurphy, 14, the ridiculers, were unapologetic. “Everybody knows he’s an idiot,” Deonte said. Norbert “Huffy” Huffmeister, father of Nelson, plans to file a lawsuit against the school system. “It is my understanding that under the USA Patriot Act, black children are not allowed to make fun of white children,” he said. He added that, if necessary, he will take his case “all the way to the Supreme Court.”
