The new Family Arts Series at White River State Park continues its excellent lineup with a “Shakespeare on the Canal” performance by Heartland Actors’ Repertory Theatre. Charles Goad (Scrooge in the Indiana Repertory Theatre’s annual A Christmas Carol) will portray Shylock for the Indianapolis professional premiere of The Merchant of Venice. Joining Goad on stage are Ryan Artzberger, Eric J. Olson, Rebecca Masur, Sam Fain, Diane Timmerman, Ben Tebbe, Phebe Taylor, Scot Greenwell, Jeff Keel, Glenn deRoziere, Matthew Roland, Adam O. Crowe, Monte Leon Tapplar and Jamison Kay Garrison. Michael Shelton will direct.
