ACLU Like KKK
by Letter to the Editor Sep 20, 2006

I had the biggest laugh in a long time when I read a list of events connected with the “Constitution Day,” (Cover, Who are “We the People anyway?” Sept. 13-20) when I noticed that only one speaker was listed for the event concerned with “the balance between security and individual rights,” and that speaker was a representative of the ACLU.

The ACLU is about as apt, perhaps less so, to give a “balanced” view of anything as is the KKK. That organization has such an obvious agenda it promotes, there is absolutely no chance that anything will be presented or promoted by them that isn’t considered extremist by most Americans.

They cannot present anything about “balance.” Their whole point is to represent extremist views, and they constantly strive to upset any concept of “balance.”

So, since I have already had my big laugh, I won’t have to spend any gas money to hear what such people have to say. They are so close-minded, I already know.
