Tad Robinson
Severn Records

Four stars

Singer Tad Robinson loves Memphis soul music, and it shows on his latest release. Horns and strings are sprinkled around his cognac blues vocals. Local keyboardist Kevin Anker plays on the album, while guitarist Paul Holdman supplies rhythm on the very cool “Back For More.”

Sounds like: Bobby Womack, Otis Clay
