A Fringe feast
by Editors Aug 6, 2008

Ever eaten dinner in an alley? Here’s a chance to do just that — and it doesn’t involve dumpster diving. For $30, on Aug. 12 you can treat yourself to a three-course dinner, live music and a variety of Fringe Festival entertainment, including buskers and street performers in the alley off Massachusetts Avenue behind the Chatham Tap, Metro and Scholars Inn. “The Longest Dinner” will be served at one, long table as a benefit to support IndyFringe and the Cultural Trail. The alley is part of the Cultural Trail’s northeast corridor, and the Fringe Festival runs Aug. 22-31. The dinner party is 5:30-10:30 p.m. You can buy tickets at Chatham Tap, Metro, Scholars Inn and IndyFringe headquarters or by phone, 317-223-8585, or online, www.IndyFringe.org.
